Trying to translate into English some old bucolic haikus attempts I wrote in French a long time ago:
Wind in the trees
Icy fingers
The taste of crackers!
Bells at noon
Down there in the valley
We have already eaten.
Nose up
An old dog
It is noon.

The brass band
Day of the Deportees.
In the valley
A thunderous band
Birds.
The dandelion
Bending on its stem
A bumblebee.
A dandelion
In the middle of the grass
Spring sunshine.
On the bag
The bee
Warms in the sun.

Fanfare tonitruante
Les oiseaux.
Le pissenlit
Ploie sur sa tige
Un bourdon.
Un pissenlit,
Au milieu du gazon
Soleil de printemps.
Sur le sac,
L'abeille
Prend le soleil.
